Provide quality guest service to both internal and external guests by maintaining a WILD (friendly, helpful, positive and professional) working attitude and appearance. ![]() If the WRA is a student at Arizona State University in the School of Life Sciences, this research has the potential to continue into the Fall 2023 semester through the ASU-SOLUR program and could be taken on as an undergraduate thesis. The WRA will also be exposed to the formal research process of question development, study design, data collection, and, potentially, data analysis, and writing. After initial training, the Wildlife Research Assistant (‘WRA’) will be responsible for all data management for the 30-camera project including, but not limited to, organizing, uploading, and sorting the wildlife photos. The primary focus of this project is to capture the first photographic evidence of ocelot (Leopardus pardalis) in the Pajaritos. The Pajarito project includes 30 cameras deployed from March to June 2023 to record wildlife (with a focus on mammals) along the US-Mexico border contending with increased human-influence, construction, and aridity in the region.
